STL Shopping: Collections By Joya

Fall is on its way and that means the holiday shopping season is around the corner! As a performing arts teacher, who is insanely busy in December, I usually start shopping in October, and storing things away. (Hopefully, I remember where I hid everything!) I love giving gifts that are unique, special, and locally created. If a company focuses on giving back in some way, that makes it even better.

While searching for just this kind of gift last year, I stumbled upon Collections By Joya. This St. Louis owned jewelry company offers hand-crafted pieces, created by artisans all over the world. These accessories are beautiful statement pieces, using unique stones and finishes. The company focuses on empowering women, giving back to women’s causes worldwide.

These sunburst earrings and matchstick necklaces are two of my most favorite accessories

Since then, I not only have purchased several gifts from Joya, but I have added some fantastic pieces to my own jewelry collection. Joya offers earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings that add just the right touch of sparkle and polish to an outfit. I love that the jewelry is modern and fashion forward, not cheap looking or fussy.

Joya is owned by girl boss, Betsy Nacrelli, who set out to create a socially conscious company for women by women. She has a kind heart and vibrant personality that instantly draws you into her vision. Each season, she sketches a new collection, then works with artisan partners worldwide to create handmade pieces of jewelry. Her passion for giving back is evident in each item.

Collections By Joya can be found online, at jewelry shows and specialty boutiques around the country, HSN, and Nordstrom. Their seasonal sample sales, held in St. Louis are definitely worth checking out for amazing deals on one of a kind pieces. Wherever you are located, there is a way to check out this amazing company for your holiday gift giving. Any woman in your life would be thrilled with a gift from Joya!
