Each year, I find try to add something new to my arsenal of swim favorites. Frankly, my swimwear tastes change often, especially when it comes to pattern, and I don't like when my suits become faded, pilled, or stretched out. This year, there are been some gorgeous retro-inspired styles I wanted to try. I took them all to St. Augustine, Florida for a Memorial Day weekend jaunt. Here's how everything stacked up.
In February of 2019, Target announced that they would partner with lifestyle brand, Vineyard Vines, for a limited summer collaboration. This was super exciting to me! I have always loved the simple, preppy aesthetic of Vineyard Vines. Partnering with Target would make their clothes significantly more affordable. In addition to that, they would be offering clothes in Plus Sizes! While Vineyard Vines currently offers Big and Tall Men's, they have nothing available for Plus Size Women. This collaboration would give big girls like me a chance to try the brand for ourselves.
It's finally upon us... the last day of school! Today we tried, Yellowbelly, in St. Louis' Central West End. This restaurant is a tropical inspired restaurant and cocktail bar that was developed by St. Louis chefs, Travis Howard and Tom Wiggins, along with consulting chef, Richard Blais, of Top Chef fame. We love Richard Blais and any chance to try something he created in our own city is amazing... plus, tiki drinks!
