With all of the suits I have tried on, I sure hope the beaches and the pools are safe to visit soon. Seriously, I need the sun, the laughter, and the calming waves. (Plus a margarita handed to me by an adorable waiter wouldn’t hurt!) Honestly though, I will put a lawn chair in a baby pool in my yard if I have to. (But I SURE HOPE I don’t have to!)
The final swim preview I want to share is from Land’s End. In my book, Land’s End has always been a go-to for swimwear. Their suits are well-made and thoughtfully designed with all sorts of figures in mind. Each summer they offer a huge collection of swimsuits, rash guards, and beach gear in fun styles and patterns. Their suits look great for years… though I like to get a new one every summer just for the variety.
When I saw that Land’s End was collaborating with Draper James, I knew I had to try some of the collection for myself. Draper James is the designer clothing line started by Reese Witherspoon. Their garments feature Southern charm, classic patterns, and feminine silhouettes. I love this line… and I loved it even more when they began offering extended sizing. Though not EVERY item is available across the size spectrum, many are available up to size 24/3X. (That “What Would Dolly Do” tee will be mine!)
The first suit I tried was the Smocked Tie-Shoulder One Piece. I. LOVE. THIS. SUIT. The sunny yellow color is so cheerful, and the smocked detail reminds me of the play suits I used to wear as a little girl. It makes me feel happy. The suit is cut well and the fabric quality is awesome. My only reservation was that I was afraid the ties on the shoulders would come loose while swimming. However, the suit is well-worth the price tag.
The other suit I ordered was the Twist Front One Piece. The navy gingham is so beautiful in person and the twisted front and striped details provide a flattering silhouette. This suit just made me feel pretty. Again, it is well-cut and high quality. I am so excited to wear this one under an umbrella with a good book.
Just for fun, I also tried the Button Front Coverup Shirt Dress. It is available in this beautiful red color or in navy with a magnolia print. The coverup is breezy, gauzy, and quite cute. This would be perfect to toss on with some sandals to grab lunch on a day at the beach.
The collection also features sunglasses and totes that coordinate with the swimwear. I am absolutely in love with all of it! It is girly, charming, and romantic. I kind of want to buy all of it!
The collection is available in sizes 0-24 on both Land’s End and Draper James.
